It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the new website presenting CEIM, the Madrid Confederation of Employers and Industries-CEOE, which I am proud to have chaired since June 2007. Without question, this Confederation is the most representative employers’ organization in the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
The year 2008 marks an anniversary for us. In this year of the Confederation’s 30th birthday, we have decided to renew its corporate image for the third time in our history. The logo has changed as well as the website design, with which we aim to achieve greater accessibility and richer features.
This site has become a fundamental communication tool now that we have succeeded in considerably increasing the number of visitors in recent years. It has also become a basic element of our policy of close cooperation with our associates, and of being available to all those people—active workers in the Community of Madrid—who enquire each day about our training courses through the Intersectoral Plan.
Many are the information and documentation resources we offer you in this interactive environment for access to the Confederation. For example, you can contact the various departments that make up the Confederation. Similarly, you have access to the various activities and publications promoted by CEIM.
Each day the latest Madrid Confederation of Employers and Industries-CEOE news will be uploaded, and you will be able to consult our magazine. Undoubtedly, all of these things will enable you to stay abreast of all the news.
In addition, the site lets you review the Confederation`s history, and get to know all of its chairmen and the Governance and Advisory bodies.
All in all, our intention in creating this website has been to create a comprehensive space for the information that will enable us, as a Confederation, to be closer to all of you. For this reason, I encourage you to visit the site and I hope that all the information you find here will be useful to you.
Arturo Fernández Álvarez,
Chairman of CEIM
